1500 Nomad Ignition Question
Hi, I have a 2000 Nomad FI...Last summer I performed the gadget modification on my key using epoxy. Long story short, when the weather reached over 100 degrees last summer, some of the epoxy apparently melted and found it's way into the ignition making it very hard to turn the bike on. Question: Has anyone ever taken apart the ignition? I'm sure there is some epoxy on the tumblers which is making it difficult to turn. I have tried spraying some silicone inside and the key turns easily...for awhile...Now I need to bite the bullet and give it a good cleaning...Any advice on how to tear it apart would be greatly appreciated...Jody
