Nice looking areas to ride in.

Are you running the camera at 720 fps or higher?

Thanks guys.Glad you like the video. Yes those are beautiful places to ride. Going to go back and now I see why Ray and GIBBY go back just about every year.
HwyRider wanted to see how it was mounted on the helmet and so here are a few picks. Thanks once again for the suggestions Neil on the different setting. I will play around with it

So if I'm seeing the camera mount correctly it slides in to the piece that's on the helmet and then the white piece locks it in or holds it in place. How high up does the camera sit from your helmet and do you notice it when you're riding?

When you slide the camera mount into the base on the helmet, it locks into place. The white plastic piece is a part that GoPro came up with to stabilize the camera and make sure it is locked into place because some people said there was a vibration on the image. so it seems that took care of that problem. The camera seats just about the height of the camera itself. They have different extensions that you can use if you need it to be above something. I don't need it now since it is on top of the helmet. You don't even know its there when you are riding. I have forgot that its even there sometimes when we stop and I take my helmet off.

1080p at 60 fps will give better quality. The faster the frame rate the better the quality on a bike.

Understood but there is no 720fps as you had stated but I am sure it was a miss print. Raw footage is better than what you are seeing here. I am just using windows movie maker and it loses its quality in the process but if you look at the videos at the bottom right there is the letters HD,click on that and it improves the picture. Besides the 1440p is the recommended setting for body mounted cameras, mine is on my helmet, and the highest fps you can go is 48.

You're right. 720p @ 60 fps is what I run with. On most sites you can't upload 60 fps and it gets down sized to 30 fps but the quality is much better at the higher frame rate even after it is converted back down to 30 fps. You should be able to get 1080p @ 60 fps on the GopPro Hero which should give awesome video. Try the different setting and see which one you like better.

Vimeo and YouTube are the popular sites that you can upload video to.
