National Rally Reservations

Made my reservations for the 2013 National Rally, ground floor double queen premium, non smoking. Will be arriving on 6-23-2013 and departing on 6-28-2013. I would suggest making reservations early if you want to stay at the base Hotel

Will be making reservations tonight. Gibby if I remember correctly someone mentioned there will be a group from the North Central area riding out together, will watch for posts on that. Don't mind riding out myself but could be a nice change for me to ride out with a group. So now I have less then a year to get my bike fixed completely :-)

Glad you are going to the National Rally Jen. I am sure that we will have a group going from the NCR and arrive en masse as we did for the Maggie Valley Rally. My first thoughts are meeting you Chicago area riders in the Des Moines area, but I am quite certain that will be changing. Keep an eye on the forum for Ray and Gregs input. For the 2011 National Rally we stopped a couple of times to add riders to the group, just takes a little planning. I personally will be leaving home on 6-22-2013 for an arrival in Estes Park, CO on 6-23-2012. That will give me an extra day to ride in CO. Good luck on getting your bike fixed completely.

Dropped off my bike last night, having a whole list of things done, it's going to feel like a new bike, ok, maybe it will just feel like a new bike after I get the bill! Since buying the bike used I thought maybe having stuff done by a mechanic and then I will continue the upkeep from then on, I put a Idaho Jack adapter on my Christmas list :-)

New steering stem bearing, fork oil changed, swing arm greased, drive shaft lubed, final drive oil changed, new plugs, push rod gasket fixed and coolant flushed. Will get new tires before trip to Colorado next year.

Will have to take a trip this weekend to see how it all feels!

I'm in! Just booked myself a premium king room for the 24th-27th. It seemed appropriate, since I ride a premium "king of the road".

I've been to Estes Park before and it is very nice town. This should be a great time!

Yes, of course I've seen them. Didn't pay a great deal of attention though, because I'm not in the market for a new bike right now.

The colors do nothing for me this year. I mean brown, who the f paints a motorcycle brown? Kind of like brown shoes. :) Other than the orange limited, the purple you have was the last great color. I think they've run out of palate.

They offer the Ultra Limited in yellow/black for 2013, which I would have grabbed up in a heartbeat. A blue/orange would be great, since I am a Broncos fan. A couple of HD colors I don't like (from previous years) are that gawd awful olive-drab green and that copper color.

At least they have several color choices for each model, not just two choices.

Hey Brad, I talked with the management to make sure you got a room you are comfortable with. It will be the same size as the one in Kanab. The Queen beds are really bunk beds but larger.
