Super Bowl-NW vs SW
Joel and I made a bet that if both the Broncos and Seahawks made the Super Bowl, whoever lost would buy the other lunch at the Rally on our Lolo Pass ride at Jack's Saloon. Nothing I love better than a free lunch....!

The 49'ers - Seahawks game was one of the sloppiest games I have seen in a long time, on the part of both teams. Prepare to have your ass handed to you by Manning and the Broncos.

It was a 15 round heavyweight battle....like getting a root canal. We'll see....the only thing that kept San Fran in the game was Kap running out of the pocket and scrambling for major real estate. Manning, not so much. He is immobile...and with the Seahawks d-backs and linebackers pasting themselves like decals on the Bronco receivers...he will be rushed into throwing ill advised passes that are likely to be picked off. Number one offense vs number one defense. In baseball, good pitchers usually shut down good hitters....it will be the same against the Broncos. Go Seahawks....it is simply our time and destiny...!

I do not like Richard Sherman the man but if you took the helmets off all the players and miked them all up so you could hear them I doubt there are many players any of us would like. I also agree that SF got the shaft on that fumble....Seattle did not deserve to win the game, but they did! Stupid rule about the replay review. Maybe that was payback for the shaft Seattle got in the Super Bowl against the Steelers?Fox and the NFL want Manning to win this thing so don't expect Seattle to get any favors against Denver. IMHO when the game is close you will see the Seahawks running the ball and throwing very short passes every chance they get. Anything to grind the clock and keep Manning off the field. Russel Wilson needs to run the ball more often if Seattle wants to win, it adds a whole new dimension for defenses to address. I get not running Wilson much in the regular season but this is the Super Bowl, the big enchilada, time to let it all hang out. Seattle won't be at home so Denver does have 2 chances........slim and none. So what do you say CJ???? You buying me lunch?

I do love a meal paid for by Kris. After watching the Seachicken game and how they struggled I am confident that Kris will be buying. Let the mind games begin.

The Sea hawks are more physical but Manning and the Broncos are going to surgically take them down.

Kris, you must have drank too much apple pie. San Francisco's offense is not in the same league as Denver. I'll take a savy veteran quarterback over some cocky loudmouth defensive backs. Seattle will have difficulty in covering the 4 wide receivers that Denver brings to the table. Keep drinking the pie, you'll need it in 2 weeks.

I'll take the underdog role every time, as will the 'Hawks. Denver is an early two point favorite....that's less then a field goal. The 'Hawks are masters of the takeaway turnover...led the NFL in that category. Like I said....when Manning gets to his third and fourth read....since he can't run, he will force a ball he shouldn't and will likely get picked off. Not only that, the 'Hawks will have Percy Harvin back in time for the game, and Denver's defense is not San Frans. Manning is having a record year, no doubt about it, but he has not faced a defense like the one he is about to. Should be epic either way....so you better buckle up!

Are the Seahawks going to bring their own refs to the game like they did against the 49er's?
PS: Richard Sherman... what a real class-act he is (isn't).

BTW, throwing food at seriously injured SF player NaVorro Bowman shows just how classy the "12th man" is.

As for fans tossing popcorn or whatever...there are a few classless knuckleheads in every rabid sports stadium is there not...?? It does not define the vast majority of Seahawk fans. Manning's vaunted receivers are gonna get mugged and pressed at the line like they haven't been all season. The Legion of Boom will have it's say...just you watch. I'm excited for the game...and more so to see Joel dig into his pocket to pay my lunch tab....! Legion of Boom!
