Airhawk cushion
Hello all,
Looking for a good/excellent condition M/L Airhawk cushion. Looking for the original Airhawk not the Airhawk II. If you have one for sale please PM me with your bottom line (no pun intended) price plus shipping hopefully we'll be able to work out a deal. I won't waste your time by haggling. all the best

Loafer, with the help of the VBA my grand plan is all falling into place! Now I just need to be voted into the White House in Nov. and world dominion will be within my grasp......

Thanks Ranger, I heard good things about the Airhawk. If it arrives on time I'll be putting it to a 5 hr test with a trip to NH next week. I really bought it for a trip to Gettysburg & Fredericksburg in July. Hoping it'll stand the test.

Not for me Loafer, big crowds aren't my cup of tea. I'll be in Laconia area the day after the rally. My plan is to tell the locals I've made the long trip from Ireland and ask "so what time does the motorcycle rally start?"

If you show up next Monday morning there are deals at some of the vendors at the Weirs. Because some of the items have Laconia 2012 on them. As they will be packing up. Good time to shop.

One of the keys to using the Air Hawk is to use as little air in it as possible. Also, you can 'exercise' you butt while riding by shifting it around on the hawk.

Adjusting air pressure is critical with the air hawk. I agree with Ranger, use as little air as possible. Too much air and it feels like a hard rolling balloon under the tush.
The official way to adjust the air hawk hasn't worked all that well for me. http://www.therohostore.com/airhawk-...to-adjust.aspx I blow air into the chamber and just let the air escape. Then I gently squeeze the air chamber to remove just a little more air. I leave the cover slightly unzipped so I can remove more air while riding, if necessary. Which is often the case. I would rather have little to no air, than too much. If anymore has a better system for managing the air in the air hawk, please share it. |

There is a new Airhawk R model. Pricey at almost $200 but if they work they are transferable to another bike, unlike a custom seat which is not.
