Oh... speaking of communication... what's the easiest and cheapest way to set up communication between bikes riding together....... I'm thinking real cheap like walkie talkies with ear pieces... just so I can say.."hey..you missed the turn dummy!!"

Can we say voltage dip? It's possible that the voltage on that circuit drops to the point that your DSL modem doesn't work. I had a similar problem once and I split the circuit into 2 15 amp breakers. That cured it.

I have two Motorola FM walkie talkies that have the vox hook up. Haven't tried it yet. They would fit in a shirt pocket and I've tested them cage to cage to about 3 miles. Maybe Nico and I can give them a shot. The biggest problem would be wind noise in them mike. I ride with a bluetooth in my helmet so the earpiece would work fine at hearing. The mic might be the problem unless you could find a "windless" type then it would be worth trying. I don't plan on spending hundreds of dollars for those "Chatterbox" types. Too costly for me.
