Looking for a Bike lift

I've checked around the web for a bike lift (not stand) but not sure whats safe or worth the $$. I already have a bike stand that raises the whole bike of the ground, but it still kills my back when I'm working on the bike. must be getting old.

Looking for a Bike lift

They are sort of expensive but I purchased a PitBull lift and am very happy with it. No adapters needed and it goes up high enough to pull the front end off with the wheel on w/o a problem. Used safety straps and wheeled it around the garage etc w/o a problem either. I got the pedal type but they have a pneumatic model, too. Some times I spend a lot on tools and sometimes I don't depending on a host of factors. This time I chose to spend about 3-4 times what I could have spent on a Larin, or Sears--which both probably do the job just fine. I think it cost me around 375 in the door. I will always be able to get some back if I sell it someday. They were on sale when I got mine and depending where you live shipping might be steep.

Ibought the Sears model. Works good but have to drive the bike up on 1/4 inch boards to get the lift under the frame. Need to tie the front down so the rear doesn't sag. Lifts it high. Isit on a little mechanics stool on wheels to work on the bike. saves my back.

Looking for a Bike lift

Harbor Freight sucks!!!!

I ordered a lift table from Harbor Freight over a month ago. I still don't have it. I contacted customer service after 3 weeks and was told they would look into it and get back to me in 72 hours. Well, 5 days later I had not heard from them so I contacted them again. This time I was told -- I should contact the transport company. Well I did and I spend days calling because they have no idea where the lift is. I cancelled my order today. I would not recommend Harbor Freight for anything ever to anyone, well maybe someone you don't like. Can anyone recommend another lift table from someone else?

this is the one i have. I have had it about 1 1/2 yrs i think, i only gave $695 . Looks like it went up about $100. I wish it was a true air lift, the air will pump the hyd pump or you can do it with you're foot. It was the largest capcity for the price at the time. My 4wheelers & zero turn mower will fit. It has worked great so far.

Yea, but they will charge you another $150-$200 for shipping. But like I said above, don't bother ordering it. I ordered 5 weeks ago and still don't have it. Customer service was useless.

I go to our local Harbor Freight Store...They don't always have everything but at least there's no shipping, and if you get a good managaer he'll check other stores for you.

Looking for a Bike lift

I had to pick it up at a wharehouse. I think they only deliver to other wharehouses. The one i went too is about 30 miles from my house they loaded it with a fork lift. It is a heavy piece. I'm pretty happy with it. The air fitting they have on it causes it to be pretty slow lifting, but i took it off & plug the air straight ot it. Makes it a lot faster just hope it doesnt hurt it any.
