Coolant reservoir
Before I take everything apart, a question about coolant reservoir tank. Shouldn’t the amount of coolant in the tank change? Mine does not. Coolant drained and changed about 2000 miles ago, no leaks no probs. Checked it a week or so ago and the reservoir tank was bone dry, added coolant and have put about 500 miles on it last week checking the reservoir tank often, fluid level never budges. I have an 06 Nomad with about 66k miles and would appreciate any ideas/input.

I found that once the air is out of the system that the level stays the same on my bike as well.

I second that . Once all the air is bled from the system the reservoir shouldn't move at all . Unless of course you have a leak somewhere . I change my antifreeze every two years and find the reservoir never changes level once all the air is out . I'd say you have nothing to worry about .
