We just got home safe. Our return trip was 354 miles with our last group ride together being 108 miles at the departure points. The rally was AWESOME!

We made it home safe also, after stopping to see a friend in Staunton. Had another nice little ride with mark, dui, classic1, kawgirl and myself (108 miles as dui said) this morning from Elkins to Staunton. We just couldn't get enough.

Great job Amy and Nancy..I thought the evening in the park cookout was a great official end to a great event.

Pics are a comin'...even the now infamous kawgirl tatoo!!! Trip will most definitely be proud.

Nancy and Amy did a superb job in the arrangements! ;) GREAT JOB or as we'd say in the military after a successful mission...BZ! BRAVO ZULU! Here are some rally pics to include a couple of ride pics taken by my wife from our field position. WE DID DO SOME RIDING!

Heading toward the mountain (DUI's front view).

Saturday's ride (DUI's rear view).

Coacha (Ron) and wife (Tammy) at Seneca Rocks break.

Part of the riding group on break (the ones that would fit).

Mark and Joe (Mrfuni) on the Cass Railroad.

Todd and Beezer at cookout. Let's just say that Todd's burgers and dogs were well done.

Glad to see those who posted that they made it home safely...

As for Coach, Mrs. Coach and myself....

Sitting in The Best Western off I-95 about 30 miles north of Savannah, GA. Started out about 6:30 am and everything was going great until we got on US 26 out of Columbia SC and the skies opened up. Lightning and heavy rain so we found an overhang at a gas station and waited about 45 minutes to an hour for the rain to let up. Back on the bikes, over to I-95 and south until we called it a day about 7:30. At that point we were tired, hungry, cold, and very wet. Got in almost 600 miles today and looking at a full day tomorrow.

Thanks to Amy & co. for putting on a great time and a reason for guys like Ron and I to ride the longest ride of our life. And to all the nice people we met, it was a blast.

Joe

Hi guys, I made it home at 8pm, that was one of the best weekends Ive had in many years. Between meeting everyone that was there, and the best ever riding that we had , I can't say enough about that area. To Nancy and Amy THANKS for a ton of fun, You'll be a tough act to follow.
