Mike: that is the fan bypass switch and indicator light. You can find detailed info on that mod from RACNRAY. It works very well.

Excellent. I was trying to think of a way to do something like this with pvc but your solution is much better than where I was. Thanks for sharing!

Looks like you may need the other piece of aluminum bar, you're running out of space on that one.
