Vaquero with power Commander

I bought my bike used and it already had v&h slash cut slip on's and a power Commander. So my question is if I want to send my ECU to Ivan's performance can I still do that with the Commander? Or do I unhook the Commander

You can keep the power commander and zero out the map after the flash.

Call Ivan and ask what he recommends.

You don't have to remove the PCV, but you shouldn't need it after the flash. You'll love your bike even more after the flash.

Bought mine and it had the pipes, the air kit and the pcv on it already.

Sent the ecu to Ivan and I definitely can tell the difference. I did put all the fuel values to 2, over 3500 rpm.

Fuel may not be needed depending on when he flashed your ecu, plus if your not pinging you should be fine. Not to say that a little extra fuel won't hurt.

That was Ivan's advice if I didn't want to zero it out. I tend to be a little ;) heavy on the throttle.

We don't have a home desk top computer and I don't have the program for the Commander. So if Ivan does my ECU and unhook the Commander all good correct?

I would disconnect it, take it out just because those commanders can go bad. I have had 3 of them take a dump on me in the past. And, after taking it out, and reconnecting the plugs back to stock, you're done and never have to touch a thing again, the Ivan tune takes care of everything permanently and your bike will run like a top with your pipes you have on presently, and adding a BAK will increase your power and fuel economy substantially.....it did on mine.
