Accessory conn.

the accessory connections under the seat on a vaquero will they support heated gear. my gear has a 15 amp in line fuse with it, just wasnt sure whats in those connections. or should I just hook to the battery.

According to the wiring diagram, the connections are fed by fuse 4 in fuse block 2 which is a 20 amp fuse. You should be good to go.

Just to be on the safe side, I would suggest that you verify that fuse 4 is actually a 20 amp fuse.

If anyone knows different please correct me.

@ Nominal 12.6VDC
15A Fuse = 151 Watts Continuous >> Noncontinuous = 189 Watts
20A Fuse = 202 Watts Continuous >> Noncontinuous = 252 Watts

Load up accordingly.

I blew the fuse once running gloves and liner. Happened on a trip shortly after I got the bike. Dropped a new fuse in there and it has been fine for almost a year now and I used the gear a lot this spring. I can't swear by it, but I suspect I had it turned on before I fired the bike when it blew.

Hook it up, you will be fine.

Thx tonik thats what I need to hook up is gloves and liner for the ol lady
as she's a freeze pot

Shouldn't be unless you have had some accessories added. But then the pigtail would be full.
