motorcycle accident

Just read this. The bike looks like it could be a Nomad. Anyone up this way from TN?

Yeah, I'd say that's a Nomad, wide backrest 1600. Lost control?? Or bumped?

It's a Nomad. Here's a piece that says it was a Kawasaki and that he lost control.

Police say the motorcyclist was transported by medflight with serious injuries from the Framingham, Massachusetts, scene to UMass Medical Center. According to investigators, preliminary information suggests a 46-year-old man from Tennessee was traveling on I-90 westbound on a Kawasaki motorcycle when he lost control and crashed.

Does it seem there's more bike accidents? Just the other day I heard a traffic reporter say there were 13 motorcyclists down in metro L.A. in evening drive-time. They must have been separate incidents since there was no news on any group accident. I'd like to see some stats on type of bike on rider down reports.

Always hate to hear about motorcycle accidents especially on a interstate. Lucky MA has a helmet law or they might of been calling something else than a ambulance. Hope the his injuries are not to severe.
