Spring start up.

I got the bike out of storage today. It has been in the shed (unstarted)since October. It started up on the first try, no problem. No lifter (HLA) bleed down. Put on the new Daylong seats, no issues there either.
Looks like my first bike ride of the season is on Saturday. It is supposed to be 18c. Yeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaw !

Pissed Jealous

We were going to go down to Kingston on Saturday and stay over night and tour around all day Sunday but the weather man changed Saturday to rain so I don't know what we are going to do. Have a great first [safe] ride of the season.
Cheers

One of the benefits of living in California is the riding season is 12 months a year, there were some cold days, but I still rode.

Ottawa SOAR is having the declaration of Motorcycle awareness month on Saturday at City Hall, 10-12, should be a few bikes there, me included. There is also the Highway of Heroes ride coming up on June 1st, I will be in that one as well. Just look for the Canadian Veteran Freedom Riders patch on my vest

A while back and for a few years in a row, a bunch of us from Points east of Kingston and the boys from further west used to ride and meet up in Kingston to have lunch and yak.
We usually ended up being a group about 10 members. Maybe it's time to do it again.

If you haven't heard of a ride in your area, start one, doesn't take much to get one going.

What would be the Ottawa SOAR and what does the 10-12 mean. If I can get the time off work I just might look you up at the Highway for Heroes ride in June.

Society of Ottawa Area Riders, and 10 am to noon. The CVFR will be leaving from Ottawa and meeting up at Kingston, we will then go from Kingston to Trenton for the main event.

Thanks for the info Smokey. I still don't know whether or not we will be in Kingston tomorrow, they're still calling for rain tomorrow and the wife isn't too comfortable in the wet weather, we just started riding again last year after a 20 + yr rest and having a blast doing it. If you see a red and black Voyager in Kingston tomorrow give us a wave. Have a safe ride

I did about 250 miles yesterday. It sure felt good to be back in the saddle. The Voyager has been parked since mid October.

And one of the disadvantages is that, someday, Nevada will be ocean front property. :)
