2009 nomad handlebar size

What is the size of the 2009 Nomad handlebars? Has anyone hooked up an XM radio on their Nomad? Thanks for the help.

When your referring to "size" are you talking about the diameter? If so, they are 1". About a month ago, I put a '09 handlebar on my '05. It moved the grips about 2 1/2 ~ 3" closer to me. The width of the bars is the same (35")

Now that's a great idea VulcanE. I've often thought about buying bars with more pullback for a more upright posture. As you know, the bars on the 05 are the same as the 04. Kawa lengthened the bars in 06.

May I ask where you bought your 09 bars and what you paid?

Markus, according to the Kawasaki web-site, the bars on the 1500 FIs all have the same part #s, all the 1600s have the same #s (but different than the 1500s), and all the 1700s have the same part #s (Classic, Nomad, & Voyager).
But anyway, I got my 1700 bar from my local Kawasaki dealership. The MSRP is around $140, but everything I order from them, they give me a discount, so I got the bar, tax and all for $118.
I'm starting a new thread (with pics comparing the two), and I'm going to call it "A Riser Alternative"
