Plug and Play Rear Wiring Harness Adapter
You don't have to cut or tap into your bike's rear wiring harness to add additional rear lighting! I'm offering a Plug and Play Rear Wiring Harness Adapter for your Vulcan Classic/Nomad (this adapter may also work with other Kawasaki models with the 6 pin connector between the main and rear harnesses).
Just unplug the main wiring harness from the rear wiring harness found under your set and plug in the adapter between the two harnesses. Then make your trunk/trailer/etc connections to the adapter rather than to the stock wiring harness. The harness is 6" long and uses the same color wire with the same pinouts as the stock harness. I have 3 models from which to choose: 1. Basic Harness - $37.00 Splice/solder/crimp your connections to the adapter. ![]() 2. Basic Harness + 4 Posi-Taps - $42.00 Eliminate the need to splice/solder/crimp! Tap 1 12-18 gauge wire or 2 20 gauge wires into each wire in the adapter (assumes that you're pulling ground from another location, like the battery or a fuse panel). ![]() 3. Basic Harness + 4 Posi-Taps + 2 Posi-Locks - $44.00 Tap 1 12-18 gauge wire or 2 20 gauge wires into each wire in the adapter (assumes that you're pulling ground from another location, like the battery or a fuse panel). The brake wire within the adapter is connected to the Posi-Locks, allowing you to hook up a brake light modulator (like the Back-Off XP). [picture coming soon] Add additional Posi products to your order: Posi-Taps (14-18 gauge) - $1.35 each Posi-Locks (14-18 gauge) - $1.25 each All prices include UPS ground delivery to locations in the continental US (please contact me for delivery to other locations). Please send your order via Paypal to [email:jmsqgvrm]kevin.rasmuss@mindspring.com[/email:jmsqgvrm] - be sure to include the harness number(s) and any additional Posi products with your order. Plug and Play Rear Wiring Harness Adapter
Where were you a year ago when I was wiring my Hoppy converter for my trailer lights? I would have built my own adapter if I could have found the connectors.
Great idea, just about 10 months too late for me. ![]() I hope you sell a ton of these.
