Throttle Mod Review

just installed the throttle mod on my 13 vaq,
i bought Daves version
this one
http://www.ebay.com/itm/281194911720...84.m1558.l2649

anyhow, heres my review

2013 vaq, little over 2 months old, 5k miles on it
decided to by the mod,
my first thoughts were, "meh? how much difference could it make?"
part arrived, took off throttle grip,
used the enclosed drill bit and tap
reassembled throttle
total time, not even 1 full beer elasped

the throttle did not snap back like before now that the mod took up some slack in the cables, so i adjusted both cables in a couple of turns, perfect slack now

went for a ride.......
amount of time til i uttered the words "goddamnnnnnnnn!", about 2 seconds

best $36 i spent all year

Yep... Done that mod several times now. I'm on my 4th set of modded grips for the Voyager (Kury's, unheated Avons, Heated Avons x 2), and did it for the Nomad too. I got them all done using one short PVC coupler, the super-glue that came with each set of Avons, and a Dremel.

Easy peasy... And well worth the effort.
