Why wouldn't you get a real cruise control instead, the breakaway is nothing more than an expensive throttle lock. You should be able to find an electronic unit for about $400.00 or less.

I think Steve was thinking in Canadian money. $400 is nothing up there.

I guesss thats what makes us all different. A length of windsheild washer hose will work evry bit as good as any throttle lock and thats almost free of charge for what it costs.

I have the breakaway and its great, I like how putting on the front break disengages the lock, only - is it doesn't speed up on hills. Of course you need the electric cruse for that:)
