Windshield Replacement Question

Hello I am looking to get a windshield for my bike. Ideally I am looking for one with a recurve at the top, and possibly one that has a vent in it to let some air in when needed. So far I have only found Clearview Shields. It is exactly what I am looking for but despite a weeks worth of attempts to contact them I have not received a response. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

lots of people say the Klock werkes for harleys will not fit, but I have one on my Voyager and while it needed slight modification of the mounting holes, it fit and works fine, had it on for two years now with no problem

Thanks Smokey that is good to know, as a friend of mine has one he is trying to sell. We were not sure if it would work or not.

I have an 11 Vaquero and I have the EOM 15 inch and it is amazing. No buffering, the air is directed 3 inches over my head and the bike is way more stable when windy. My riding buddies complain about ear discomfort on long rides from the wind, I have never had an issue. I believe I paid around $100 bucks for it, we'll worth it.

Thanks Kevin. Do you still get enough breeze to stay cool on the hot days?

I got the Clearview shield a year or so ago and love it. I think the guy's name I dealt with was Mark. He kept me informed of the process of making it and called me when it was done and ready to be shipped. They were running behind back then on production and actually gave me a discount because of the delay. No wind on me or my girlfriend when we ride on my VV. I would highly recommend the shield. Pretty sure I got the medium size with no vent. I am 5'10" and it works perfectly.

I have a Clearview with the vent and it does a good job of getting some air through. When it gets really hot I change to a Bagger Shield for more air and adjustability.

I just talked to Mark at Clearview and I believe he answered almost all of my questions. The one I forgot to ask was in terms of the vented shield, do you get enough air through that to justify the extra price?

I live in Oklahoma and I get plenty of air, at highway speeds, to be comfortable without the vent. Around town is not too bad but nothing helps in town riding between the heat from the engine and the 100+ temps.

Yes, I still get plenty of breeze, just not in my face.
