polished UB

After buying a set of used UB for my V & H pipes from another member who's other half didn't approve I installed them and love the sound. The other day I was looking at the ass end of my bike (her name is Candy) I said to myself, self those UB are very dull you need to shine them up. So my and myself took the UB's out and took the buffing wheel to them took before and afters thought I'd share.

They look great now, but I doubt they'll stay like that for long unless you keep on top of them all the time.

yes I did take that into consideration. Having a shiny surface to start will was my goal. I'll discover what riding will do to them. I will let the masses know how they hold up.

They do look good now............. but after a few hundred miles, they'll look like they did. Below is a photo of the very first UB ever made. They are polished Ampco Bronze, and they did look sharp, but after a few hundred miles, they look like all the rest.

They look good but it will be a problem keeping them looking that way.
