communications system for voyager

does anyone have an idea when Kawasaki will install a communication plug such as the ones on Harley or Honda Gold Wing? Also what driver passenger headset units are you using. We ware 1/2 helmets when traveling 2up.

You can always get bluetooth headsets for your half helmets.

We use the Sena units on our half helmets. Original intent was she likes her music and I like mine, then we would try to use them to talk to each other. It's actually much easier for her to lean forward & whisper sweet nothings into my ear....well, it's not exactly a whisper now, since the V&H slip-ons are a tad louder...haha! not to mention we use the stereo on the bike, as long as we both agree on the music! (first bike didn't have the stereo). Now all we use the headsets for is phone calls, mostly incoming, but we can use Siri on the iPhone to make outgoing calls. The Sena units are BT, by the way.

There is already an option for this. Kawasaki sells the whole intercom/cb system. You can either get the setup for rider passenger which has the plugs that install on the bike or go all the way and get the cb to talk to other bikes. Just the intercom system will cost around 550 and another 500 for the cb module.
