Moving to humid temps.....

I bought my '99 nad in Pheonix, AZ and she already had a Thunder Air Kit and V&H pipes. The previous owner said she was dynoed to meet the aftermarket additions. I noticed when I got her that she was running a little rich but nothing to worry about in El Paso. Its virtually the same climate and elevation. But in late May I'll be moving south to Laredo, Texas where it is much more humid and the elevation will drop from 4500 in El Paso to 300-400 in South Texas. What should I expect from the Nad? Some say she's gonna run better. Others said to re dyno. What do the experts say?

Give her a chance in Laredo to see how she runs. if good do nothing. if poorly then re-dyno. Enjoy!

I'm going to give an boneheaded educated guess and say it will run better. I'm also guessing that since it has carbs that all the jets were changed after the mods? Find out which ones were changed and what they were changed too so you have a baseline. Idle jet, needle jet, needle and main jet.

I agree. If it's too rich at 4500, then it will be much leaner at 400 ft. It should run better when the air pressure and humidity are higher. My bikes always have.
