Top box

I am going to tour Spain in the summer,so I am getting things ready for this.
Can anyone suggest a good size hard lockable top box I have a cobra rack fitted, all the boxes I have seen hinge from the back this will hit the sissy bar when opening?.

Which is why you don't mount a trunk on a luggage rack. You need a purpose-built mount, like a Wompus rack.

And a HD TourPak. There are a few out there that are decent quality but honestly, nobody makes one like HD. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

They are the best for loading stuff in, if you go that route get one from an Ultra Classic, they have the tailights and sidelights built into them.

Did you get a Harley TourPak? Or an aftermarket trunk?

Hi Redjay

Thanks for the pm I have just looked at it and the link.
Very usefull I think I can make something very similar when I get the pack.
sorry I cannot send a picture of the pack from the link I am not that good on the computor yet but I can from my camera so when I fit it I will send a photo.
I think the manufacturer is a firm called ride.
Thanks for all the advice God knows how long it would have taken me to sort this problem out.
Regards bygum
