I didn't know about this site until I read the bashing thread on VROC. This is just what I was looking for:NOMADS ONLY. Seems like a nice group on here, I'll be looking forward to maybe meeting some of you sometime. While I'm on here have any of you rode rte 33 from Elkins to Ohio? I'm going to be in WV along with 4 friends the week of your eastern rally and am planning on passing through Elkins on friday, maybe I'll run into some of you there. We're planning on rte 33 when heading back to IN. Uor group will consist of my Nomad, a Harley ultra classic, a Yahama Roadstar, an 800 Drifter and a Honda 1100 shadow.

Welcome bill.....glad you found us....I have never ridden 33 but hear its great.

I hope you will hook up with us on Friday at the rally. If you think it's a real possibility, let me know and I will PM you my cell #.

We are riding from Elkins to the Cass Railroad that day.....the rest of your group is definitely invited to join in too

Welcome aboard from Indiana, this is the best forum for Nomad info. I was somewhat involved in a few of the comments on the VROC board defending KAWANOW. I joined that forum thinking that two resources are better than one, but I could never find any info there. This site is full of quality info, with great members, and we leave the bashing to others. I'm sure more Nomads owners will follow you over.

Glad you're here, and can make part of the rally. You can have your "y" back though. Since you joined up with this band it's ok to say "Our" eastern rally.
