That's about what they run. A number of people have them here and like them, love mine. I believe it is a good idea to get the wiring kit for an additional $10, although CatusJack gave the wiring diagram here a while back that can be used.

That is the horn of choice and about the right price. I got mine for around $42 or so on Amazon.

http://www.bikerhiway.com has them for $41.95 with a wiring kit available for $9.95. I would recommend that you get the wiring kit, it makes it a lot easier to install.

I love my Stebel and am thinking of getting another so I'll have one on each side.

Overkill can be a good thing! :)

Don't have both horns facing forward...you'll back up.

The wiring kit consists of a relay, some wiring, a few connectors and some zip ties. The relay is the key ingredient, though.

The one I have now is on the left side of the bike facing to the left, so when I activate it it actually pushes the bike to the right. So, I really need a second one mounted on the right, facing to the right to balance the push of the one on the left.

Don't think you'll do better, just double check that it is the chrome one if that is what you want.

Mount 2 stebels at the back of the bike, facing rearward and use them as afterburners.

STEBEL HORN WIRING DIAGRAM

The new/improved version was confusing, this one will work. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Uh, how is the switch going to trigger the relay? ???

Or were the two wires actually the ones connected to the OEM horn.

Yes, they are the original horn wires.
