Traded/sold the Nomad

Well folks after 2 and half years with my 06 nomad I just traded here in for my 2008 Victory Vision Premium. I loved my nomad and would have kept her but the dealer gave me $1,800 over blue book for her and that was a fair price for it. I had almost 20K miles on my nad and she never left me standed or gave me any problems. But i test rode the new Victory vision and fell in love with that bike. So now I have the new vision in the garage. I have put some spare parts i had from my nomad up for sale in the sale-parts section. I wish you all well with your Nomads and hope you all have fun with modding your nomads as I did. I hope i have some parts you may need or want in the for sale area. Ride safe...

We all have our tastes and the Vision sure is a different animal. I hear that it is a nice ride but I too will be sticking with the Nad. Good luck with it and enjoy.

To each his own and every person has to love their ride. I am sure there are several things better about the Vision than the Nomad. But I am too old fashion for a sleek Vision. The Vision makes me think of the Jetsons. Heck even a Goldwing looks too high tech for me. I prefer the 650 Bonneville or 750 Norton look.

Not my preference of style for how a bike should look.
I'm sure it has many nice features and fun to ride....
Well........OK........I don't like the way it looks.......Not for me.
Never the Less.......You obviously do........Enjoy your new ride and good luck.
Ahhhhhhh....Nothing like a shiney new ride.

You bought a very nice bike. It has a very "unique" style to it. A bike is just an extention of yourself. It is one thing you can make just yours. If everyone liked the same thing, think of how boring the world would be. I don't quite care for the style, but then again I don't need to. I do like different. Enjoy your new "Rocket" bike Mr. Jetson!!! Ready for take off. Ride Safe!

I sat on one of those before I bought my '08 Nad...definitely different thats for sure. The Jetsons and James Bond-ish come to mind. That exhaust looks like it could double as a Gatling gun... ;)

Enjoy the new ride and keep both wheels down!

Congratulations. There's nothing like having a new bike in the garage! I'm sure you will enjoy your new Vision. Don't be a stranger, drop in and let us know how the new bike is doing.

Congratulations! Enjoy the new ride!
I still maintain that, as much as love my Nomad, I would probably have 6 or 8 bikes in the stable if the resources were available. It doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you get your knees in the breeze!

I like the new bike (my wife doesn't, so we'll keep the Nomad). Just please do us two favors:
1) stay in touch, and
2) please don't paint that thing to look like a dragon!!!
Take care and keep the rubber side down,
Rich
