a wednesday night ride

There are advantages to living in the southeast and going out to look at the Christmas lights by motorcycle is one of them. This past Wednesday evening the conditions were perfect and the four of us went off on two Nomads over to the Oceanview area of Norfolk where we had stopped before in the cage and not all the displays were up yet. This time though they were and they were very nice. After that we got on Shore Drive and made our way back towards Virginia Beach, stopping at a little park directly in the flight path of Norfolk Airport where we watched a few jets land and then all the way to Virginia Beach along Atlantic Ave. We found a nice display on 44th St that was totally awesome. From there we made our way back home having enjoyed over two hours of riding and Christmas lights. As much as I liked Vermont you could almost never have done that without freezing your butt off.

Life is too short to spend time "freezing your butt off."

a wednesday night ride

A couple of years ago, my wife and I were able to ride around on my bike and look at xmas lights. It was kinda neat.
