Front fork swap
I found a whole mean streak front end, and I wanna swap at least the front forks and wheel to my classic converted to a nomad. I wanna keep my windshield. Anyone ever do this? Any advice or concerns?

Make sure the distance between the fork legs is the same otherwise you will be changing triple trees and making new wheel spacers ?

Also, the age of the bike, will depend on whether the speedo drive is from the front wheel, or not. That drive is a good 2in wide.

What MAS said. I converted the wheels on my Classic to Mean Streak wheels. The rear is a direct bolt in place, no issue at all. The front, well, you'd best plan to use everything from the triple clamps down to the wheel, brakes included. I had to fab up some caliper mounts to use the Mean Streak front wheel to fit into the Classic forks with the Classic brake calipers. The wheel itself will fit right in, but the brakes are the issue. Also, the Classic or Nomad front fender will need some mods to fit between the mounts on the MS fork legs. If you want more coverage than the MS stock fender gives, perhaps use a Baron aftermarket front fender.
