2015 Vaquero Trunk

I am looking for information from anyone that has installed a Voyager trunk on a Vaquero. Is it possible?

Sure, both are the same bikes. You just need all the parts (truck, rack, cable, brakelight, etc.) BUT all is very expensive (iirc ALL together could b 2500$) to buy it new at the kawi dealer. Either you get the whole assembly from a wrecked bike or from someone who removed it from their Voyager, but I would guess, it could by way easier to sell the bike, get a Voyager and done.

But it is possible !

Or you put a different trunk on it. The Harley Davidson Tour Pack (mounted on a Wompus rack) is pretty popular. If you shop around, you can probably find an excellent condition Tour Pack off of an Ultra (includes tail/lower lights, radio/CB antennas, backrest pad, speaker pods, etc) for $500-$800 or so. You can probably find a non-Ultra Tour Pack (no lights, no antennas, no pad, no speaker pods) for less than $300. A Wompus rack is around $200. One of the nice things about the H-D box is the vast assortment of both replacement parts and upgrades. H-D also makes a couple cut down versions of the same. (For reference, the full sized Tour Pack is often referred to as a beer box, the extra slim version is called a pizza box (cuz that's about the size/shape of it).)

There are also aftermarket clones of the H-D box (i.e. Mutazu, etc). Buyer beware as those are generally much cheaper quality (although they're also much cheaper in price).

Personally, I had a genuine H-D beer box on my '07 Nomad (with a Wompus rack, of course). I thought it looked good and it worked exceptionally well.

Reckless motorcycle products= trunk

Quote:
Touring Trunk $ 275.00
- King size trunk (25" x 19" x 13")
- All HD hardware will fit and work on this trunk
- Available in black gelcoat or painted to your factory color
- Does not include hinges, latches or locks (But will be available soon)
I had the Fairing and it was a great product. But without Hinges and latches this trunk is a bit spendy. At least by the time you add the hinges and latches. I am sure it is a good product, they make good products. I used a Boat fiberglass product on my Gel coat fairing, 303® Marine & Recreation Aerospace Protectant™. Absolutely no color fade in 8 years. Treating it 2-4 times per year.

Well put, Henry Ford. But it does look like it is painted. They do a very nice finish on their products.
