107 mph on a Vaquero.....

with a 14" windshield, per Zumo 450 GPS, had more left in the tank, but decided I didn't want to know how much it would cost to go 110. nice ride home from work today. couldn't crack 100 on the speedo (probly only 95 anyways) with stock intake, fuel and mufflers.

I'm duty bound to report this excessive speed to law enforcement in your city and state in your avatar as over 100 mph in every state is assault with a deadly weapon.

I've done triple digits when I had my Victory Vision (in both 5th and 6th). Looked down, got scared and slowed down every time.

This was a guy on the other vulcan forum that had the bike go squirrely over 100 mph and he now has an artificial foot. Leave the triple digits to the bikes designed to do it.

My stock Nomad could easily exceed 120mph if I drove it off a cliff, but I am sure if I looked down I would get scared, so it is more or less the legal limit for me.

I was going to do both. Spent the summer testing them out, found a great deal on a used z1000. Had the cash in my pocket on a Friday, told the guy was coming Saturday morning. Got home Friday from work and found a leak in the basement and had to cancel until I found out how bad the basement was. It wasn't bad, but the bike sold.

I will find another great deal, it is fall.

Must be the size of coconuts. My max speed on the Voyager was around 90. Don't want to see triple digits.

If you go down at 110 is it going to hurt much more than at 90?
