My junk yard flip - Vaquero luggage rack

If you haven't noticed, I like to make stuff. Sometimes handy stuff, sometimes not, but this one will most definitely serve a purpose!

Last year's North Central Regional rally showed me how much I needed a luggage rack. But for just a luggage rack, Kawasaki priced me out of their solution. - When I had the fender trim off last, I went ahead and drilled the holes for the KQR docking station determined to do something soon.

This was supposed to be my temporary solution while I design something amazing, and even though I still consider it temporary, it also turned out amazing. It's not officially quick-detach, but the bolt holes are slotted, so I call it RQR (Relatively Quick Release).

$20 hardware
$30 junk yard luggage rack
$20 steel to cut out adapter plates
$65 powder coat
=$135

Yeah, that's the one. It served the purpose. Can't wait to check out this one out in Colorado.
