Speedo Visor Install

Just ordered the Highway Hawk 672-016 visor. Has anyone installed one of these? According to the picture it looks as if it conforms to the chrome bezel on the speedo but it has four "ears" that protrude from it.
Is it just a simple matter of removing the chrome cover on the tank and slipping this on top of the speedometer or is further dissasembly required?
Thanks!!

Remove the chrome housing, install the visor from the bottom and the tabs would hold it in place, keeping it from falling off.

Anyone know if this would also fit a 2000 1500 carbed? Everywhere I've looked says the specific one for 1500's has been discontinued.

Send a message via AIM to Idaho
You will want a piece of foam strip to help keep the visor in place and not rattle around.
