Front Tire Choice
Ok, I usually don't rack my brain over this but I am having a tough tim choosing a good front tire for my nomad. I am a darksider and am currently running a rear backwards. I have thought about the Michelin Commander II rear on the front but seen the 77 908 lbs rating and thinking it may be too stiff. think I need a drink my head hurts LOL

Don't know, but that is the one I plan on going with when I replace front. Have the MC II on the back and really like feel. Going to try running try that rear 150/80/16 up front and reverse direction. Probably will be in two or three more months if not sooner. Dealer already has one for me.
Unless they decide to make a front tire the right size before then.

That's the place I get my tires (and other stuff) from, they are great to deal with. You've already ordered your tire, but the Avon Cobra in stock size, is an excellent tire and goes real well with a CT, I'm on my second one, and really like it.

I ran a couple of Dunlop rears on the front in the 150/80 size.
This last time I went with a Shinko 130/90 on the front and absolutely love it. The bike turns easier and quicker. It just feels sportier. I was one of the early darksiders. I went through 4 different CTs on the rear. About three years ago one sustained damage and had to be replaced that day. I've had bike tires on ever since. It just feels better. I gave it 45000 miles and never planned on going back. But time and unforseen occurence changed my mind. MT

The Shinko 130/90 you ran on the front..was that a front tire or a rear tire?

It's a front. It has about 5000 miles on it and still looks like new.
