Soap and water when I wash the whole bike.
Windex when doing just the shield. Yeah, I know, they say Windex will discolor the plastic ::) I have used it on every bike I have owned and no discoloration yet.

At home - soap and water followed by lemon pledge.

On the road - water followed by lemon pledge

Stroke up and down, now round and round.

When the bugs are baked on I lay a wet towel on the windshield for 5-10 minutes to soften them up.I then use Pledge and a micro fiber cloth to clean. For everyday cleaning I just use Pledge.

It sounds like I'm doing/done everything wrong. I've used RainX, scrubbed "'round and 'round", and any other direction,...even used the window cleaner/scrubber at a gas station, on my other windscreens.
But that's it!! I'm chang'in my evil ways. I love the extra wide windscreen "strobe" had put on the H.D. fairing, and want to keep it looking great. I have used windex and a fiber cloth on this new one. But soap and water with the fiber cloth from now on. Maybe I'll order some of this 210 stuff.

I used to use the Honda Polish but switched to Lemon Pledge.... works just as good for 1/4 the price.

I use soap and water, then finish it with Windex. I used Rainx and while it does what it claims. It puts little strees like cracks into the windsheild. I'll never use Rainx on a plastic windsheild again.
