3 weeks ago while enroute to a regional rally for Volusia Riders, a friend was riding my incredibly customized C50 Boulevard and blew off the edge of a downhill decreasing radius turn. My bike was totaled in the process, but by the grace of GOD my friend only fractured his wrist...
Being the "grieving widow" that I wasn't, less than 48 hours later I was the proud owner of a shiny new Silver & Blue '08 Nomad. Two days later my wife and I drove to Saint Louis then flew to Green Bay and rode our new baby 780 miles home.  Several friends on the Volusia Riders board who are also Nomad riders pointed me over, so after a couple of weeks of lurking and buying, I figured I may as well join... Those of you that already know me also know that I love having yet another opportunity to throw perfectly good money at yet another perfectly good motorcycle. In addition to my new Nomad, my other ride is as 2 month old '09 SV650SF that has been thoroughly worked on with just about every component being replaced with performance race parts, tweaked, tuned and track ready! I was riding this bike when my buddy crashed the other one. Here are pics of both horses in the stable... ;) -Tim

Welcome from Ohio. Sorry to here the reasons why you "found" us, but glad your friend is ok. I can't imagine the feeling of wrecking someone elses bike:( I think you'll find for two up, the Nomad is hard to beat in the large metric cruiser category.
