Ronald, I don't believe that it will be a direct bolt on. I believe that with some work it can be made to fit. The front forks are different between the 2 bikes. You would have to fad some brackets to make it work.

Hey Ronald, checkout this site: www.recklessmotorcycles.com. They offer a fairing setup for the 1500 Classic. This is where I purchased my fairing. I have had zero problems with it. It has been mounted 5 years now.

They'll probably be a lot more by then, but I can only guess they go on sale pretty regularly. You can get a bathing with no radio for superb cheap.

tryin to get one under 250 with no radio or speakers, I can get a radio and speakers on the cheap, but until then I will use my Bluetooth. the only reason why I asked in the first place is I saw one on ebay that went for 76 bucks (winning bid) and 39 shipping. now that's more my speed, I know that's not on the regular but if I can get it at a steal its all good.

Hey Ronald,,,,here's a thought. See if Reckless would sell you a set of brackets for the Classic and get your fairing from E-bay. Worth a try.

Ronald a couple of guys bought these fairings and stated the were satisfied with them. This may help in your pursuit of the right fairing for your bike.

Just FYI...take this with a grain of salt, but the front end on the Classic and Nomad are nearly identical. The key differences is that the Nomad comes with more of the necessary brackets that the OEM windshields hook into. Usually the fairing makers assume that these brackets are present.

I have yet to see a Nomad that had a different front end from the same year Classic...of the same size.

Its possible that within certain year bands this holds true, but crossing those bands it may not alway be so.

For example...the front end of a 09+ Nomad is IDENTICAL to the 09+ Classic LT. We also just did a fairing on a buddies 05 1600 Classic...though we had to get the brackets from Reckless and the Nomad style windshield brackets from Kawasaki.

The real key was having the right OEM hardware on the bike to mount the fairing on.
