New Look for my Bike(large pics for dial up)

Hey Guys. I finally got around to uploading the pics I took last week when I worked on my bike.

Here's what I installed:
Rainbow effect "cage" for front headlight
Stebel Nautilus Horn
Kuryakn curved laydown license plate kit.
Mustang rear fender bib.

What I could not find to install:
the wagner 1210 H4 light. Advanced Auto didnt have it and that's where I buy pretty much everything. Is that giong to have to be an online purchase?

I love the look of solo but that mustang pad really Looks cheap. I want to buy something that matches the bag rails but does not take heavy modification. I'm worried about that. And it has to require no fender drilling.

I need tips on how to better hide and waterproof the wiring of my stebel. Any pics and tips on that would be appreciated.

That silly little rainbow cage is pretty neat looking and adds an extra eye catching thing for people to see in both day and night. Barely naticeable to you while driving though. You can see just a slight color effect.

Horn is pretty awesome too. Sounds like a mini-train. Instal went without a hitch. Just need to hide wires better like I said. Just flipped the bracket like a few others tipped off about.

LOVE the license plate kit. all I had to do was dremmel out the holes a tiny bit to make them wider to fit.

Looks good, real good.

If you move the relay to either under the tank or seat, then there will only be one wire running to the horn, assuming you can make a short out-of-sight ground connection. The wires coming from the switch can be pulled back under the tank to meet those coming from relay so they are not seen either. Use a black wire and black tie wraps and tuck in with existing wiring and you won't see a thing. Waterproofing then should not be an issue.

I used a red wire to the horn + terminal (came with the kit) and still barely seen.

Looks good. Too bad the left side view is blemished by that awful state inspection(?) sticker near the front shifter. Oh well, it's not your fault if the state requires it.

ona good note though. It is only about a three minute inspection. They have me drive the bike in the bay. He's like " well I can see your brakes work then." tells me to do the lights. do the horn. OK I'm good.
That's really about it.

sam I like the look of the license plate, I have some questions though. is your tag bigger than the plate frame? You said you dremmeled out hole, which holes, fender, license plate, back mounting plate??? Whats the product number? Must not be for Nomad 1600 im guessing since you had to dremmel, Did the kit contain the chrome backing plate too?? thx Sam. looking good.

Doc

I love the solo look. Did the same thing to mine and bought the same bib. Yep, cheap looking. I put the pillon seat back on but I plan to buy a fender rail that I saw on another forum.

The rail is found on meancycles.com pt# B162105. Its for a Road Star but if you can get past the no drilling issue, it looks really good. It also makes the bib lay down better.

I put the passenger seat back on in hopes that my wife would be able to ride with me some. She is having back trouble and cant ride her 800, the way it is goin she may not be able to ride 2 up with me either.
