That Mrs. Jack and I said "I do". My, how time flies. It only seems like 40 years to me.

We've raised three boys to become respectable members of society, so we've got that going for us.

Yep, at the Univ of Calif two computers were connected for the first time by a gray wire to create "Arpanet" on August 31, 1969. Protocol and domain names came later in the 80's and in 1990, Arpanet was officially changed to the world wide web. The rest is history.

I did know that, Trip. The University of Utah was one of the first nodes back in the day and engineers there made significant contributions to Arpanet. Originally, "Arpanet" was intended for national defense use.
