I need HELP!

I need help guys. I have a 2003 nomad that i bought in '06. It had a Corbin one piece, two person seat on it that I am still using. I just ordered and received an ultimate seat which is awesome. My problem is the passenger seat. Because of the way the Corbin seat mounts, I am missing what looks like part #32046-1458 bracket-seat,rr from the parts diagram which really doesn't show you how it assembles. I can order the part but even then it doesn't jive with what ultimate sent me. I'm suppose to call their tech on Mon. and try and figure out what is what.
So before I order the bracket I would like to see what the stock setup looks like. So I am asking this big favor. If anybody out there has a 2003 with a stock seat, would you be willing to take pics of the mounting system and maybe email them to me. Maybe the underside of the passenger seat and how the bracket mounts and top of the fender. I know this is asking a lot but I would so appreciate it. Thank you.

hard to tell what your missing, but Im guessing. Since it had a Corbin one piece seat, somebody removed the bracket that bolts to the rear fender(holds the tongue of the rear seat. This rectangle bracket should be cheap to buy, could even fab it up easily. I own a '05 so cant shoot pics for you. thats my take unless Im drunk. :-)

I have a 2007, and my seat mounts differently but I've pulled the seat off of a 1500 Nomad before and the part you are asking about is almost like a cargo rack. The seat pan has tabs that hook into the slots in the mounting plate.

In fact, I know of a local guy who had his rear seat mounting plate chromed and uses it like a solo rack.

What does the bottom of the Ultimate passenger seat look like?

I think you are drunk, Doc. The 1500 rear seat mounts differently than a 1600. The rear seat doesn't have the flat tongue that slips under the rectangular bracket you're thinking of. It has a large plate, maybe 6" x 6" or so with slots in it that match up with tabs on the seat pan.

the bottom of the seat has two threaded studs, 6mm X 1/2" long about 5" apart and an inch from the front edge. Then there's two tongues or tabs 4 1/4" center to center and about 6 or 7" from the front edge of the seat. The dealership here said the bracket would be $30 but he would let me have it for $24.

I think I saw the bracket for $18.30 on Cheap Cycle Parts website, but it would probably be close to $30 with shipping. The dealer is giving you a good deal.

When I get this resolved come on over and I'll have the beer. Of coarse it might be kind of a long ride for some.

I have an 02 and will be happy to take pics of the rear seat mount for you. Not sure that there is enough light out now so I'll get them tomorrow for you.

I need HELP!

I have figured out what I need. There is a bracket #32046-1458 that fits on the fender which I can buy at the dealership but I also need the bracket that bolts on to the bottom of the seat which I think you have to by the seat to get it. I'm in a jam. Found a pass. seat on ebay for $99 but I can't afford that. DOES ANYBODY HAVE THESE PARTS LAYING AROUND THAT WOULD BE WILLING TO SELL THEM. I'm calling the dealership tomarrow (closed today) and see what they can do. Thanks
