Voyager 1700 abs 2011 oil change

Hey guys, need your input.
At the end of winter I will have to make my very fist oil and filter change.
Now, from the book, I need to put 4.1 pint or litre in it.
Does it make sense?
Edmond

If I remember correctly my 2010 Voyager took almost 6 litres before it was at the correct level.

Bought it in the fall of 2011. Did an oil change before it went into storage. The manual states 4.3 litres with a new filter.
I would say its more like 5.5 litres. I will be changing it every 5,000 kms.

Gcarm, I have a 2010 Nomad, non ABS. At my oil changes I am usually putting 5 litres of oil into my bike and a new filter. I think the 4.1 litres is if you don't change the filter.
