LEO fired for shooting dog
http://thefreethoughtproject.com/cop...ear-old-owner/
I say it's about time because 99% of dog shooting are unjustified. The dog looks at the cop the wrong way and it gets one between the eyes.

Yeah...those cops are real bad people. Wonder when the last time someone went internet surfing to dig up all the good stories about cops?
Those feel good stories just don't get the hits like the bad news. Giving a kid a badge, helping an old lady find her way, walking into danger on a daily basis, protecting the wives againt wife beaters, stopping crime in progress, letting a speeder go, helping a lost kid find their parents, helping a teenager from going down the wrong path, etc. I have seen all of these first hand and much more. The media is so slimy but that is what the masses read and demand. Unfortunately the sensationalized negative stories ruin the reputation of the good cops who are the majority...IMHO.

No, not all cops are bad but there certainly seem to be a lot more psychos carrying a badge these days who think that shooting a dog on sight is the SOP. As a long time dog owner I am glad to see that someone finally stepped up and said enough is enough.

I had hoped all the LEO posts were dead and gone... the good and the bad.
Just too incendiary in my opinion...
