vance and hines pro pipe

Hey guys looking for pipes for 2009 1700 nomad. I really like the look and sound of the vance and hines 2 in1 pro pipe (heard them from videos) but I would like your thoughts and good advice. Thanks B

I first had a set of tri ovals on my bike and just didn't like them. I have had the V&H pro pipes on mine now about 6 months and love them. I found that the seal between the header and muffler leaked a little no matter how hard I tightened them. I ended up adding some high temp silicon sealer to the joint and that made for a good seal. Friend of mine with a Voyager liked them so much he bought a set for his also. I also took the baffle out and rewrapped it with stove rope.

My V&H's were already installed when I bought my bike. They sound absolutely awsome and they certainly turn heads when cruisin', but not so much that I have the local constabulary pulling me over for disturbing the peace. I haven't met any fellow Vaquero owners in person (yet), and I've never actually heard a Vaquero with stock pipes so I guess I'm a little biased. The short of it is - you will not be disappointed.

If you look on my post http://www.vulcanbagger.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=36078 you will a picture of the pipe installed, I like them a lot better than the tri ovals, at least the V&H fit like they should.
