Vulcan 900 vs nomad 1700 handle bars

I traded a vulcan 900 classic for a 1700 nomad. The one thing I noticed, was the reach on the vulcan was a little longer and a bit more comfortable. On the nomad, I feel like my elbows are bent a little more than they should.

Can anyone recommend a set of bars that will give me more of a reach forward ?

Welcome to the forum. I believe the 1700 is a little more compact in most departments compared to the 1600. Many with the 1600 have employed pull back risers to reduce the reach. Just wondering if straight or slightly angled forward risers would help increase the reach for you instead of changing bars.

Hrmm, didn't think of that.

Maybe something like this:

Flipped around?

Thanks!
