As long as somebody had insurance, I'd be fine. It's just a car.

That dyno looked like a flimsy piece of junk.

It IS just a car. My bike is the most fun I've ever had with my clothes on but it's still just a bike. My house is just a house. It's a material possession that can be replaced. It sucks that the back of the car is probably trashed but it can be easily replaced. It's not even a rare car.

That is scary. I always stayed the hell away from the dyno.
I worked as a "repair tech" in a shop that also did performance mods. Not my deal. They had a 200 mph 1100 hp rated mustang dyno (built in). I think I got more work from that dyno and the cars that blew up on it than the perf. guys did.
(the performance guys couldn't actually fix anything - I am sure it's not like that everywhere)

That would definitely suck! Kind of agree with Chris... just a car. Not like its Elanor!

I would hope so cause if it is a private car, insurance may give the guy a hard time.

I probably should have been a little more explicit. I'll try again...

I hope the operator/owner of the dyno had insurance.

But, if the operator/owner of the dyno required the poor chap with the GT500 to sign a waiver absolving the operator/owner of the dyno of any responsibility due to any reason what-so-ever (the normal standard waiver dreamed up by lawyers) then the poor chap with the GT500 is SOL (Shit outta luck).
