Norma Jean
I just got around to checking my travel log book for the trip to Cortez and KawANOW rally rides.
From La Vista, NE and back Norma Jean the Nomad Machine (she is all stock) traveled 3027 miles. She was treated to 79.7 gals of gas, all 91 octane. That come to 38 MPG. She traveled in 30 degree weather, 100 degree weather, she was hit by rain and hail. She was blasted by sand and high winds. And, there is not a bug left in KS that did not crest her body!! She traveled solo as well as 19 other Nomad riders. She also traveled 300 miles and camped with a HD Dan, a friend she made along the way (and that is what it's all about) Bill The I ride Norma Jean.

Sounds like a great ride. Makes me jealous. Glad everything went smoothly.
