Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager/Nomad OEM Driver's Backrest

I have for sale a used OEM driver's backrest for a 2009 through the present model Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager or Nomad. This seat will work with any seat that utilizes the factory rear pillion pan. That means all factory stock or gel OEM seats or custom seats that were rebuilt using the stock pans.

It is pictured below on my bike attached to the factory pans of a Russell Day Long re-built seat.

I picked this up because I thought it would be nice to have a driver's backrest. I'm not sure why I thought this because I've been riding bikes for over 20 years and never owned a bike that had one on it.

This backrest is most likely the most solidly mounted set-up you can buy for this bike. It attached just as it was supposed to and functioned perfectly. Problem is, I can't get used to riding with something up against the small of my back. It has lot's of adjustment range, it's just not right for me. I'm just too used to riding without one.

My loss is your gain. Get this backrest set for $150 shipped anywhere in the continental USA.

This is sold in two parts by Kawasaki. The first part is the Backrest Bracket Kit, Kawasaki part #K53020-394 and retails for $299.95. The second part is the Pad Kit, Kawasaki part #K53020-396 and retails for $189.95. That's $489.90 for the set.

Will this fit a Vaquero RDL seat? If so, I'm in!

Already sold it man... I don't think it would have worked with the Vaquero unless you have the two piece seat. I'm not sure how a Vaquero's seat works. Thought it was one piece.

I knew it wouldn"t take long. Those puppies are expensive new! I wish it would have worked out for me better than it did. I was exicited about running across it myself.
