Question Questions

Getting ready to wrap my V&H baffles, has anyone drilled a hole through the baffle and placed a bolt through it to make it easier to remove and maybe provide a little back pressure? Sort of like to Ultimate baffle but on the originals.
Next question, any idea how fix a small dent in a V&H pipe from some doofus who used the wrong bolt to attach it back to the bike? Don

Why does it cut off my post?
Last question was about me not replacing the washer on the oil screen after my last oil change and wondering if I did any damage and could that be the cause of an increased clicking between 1500 and 2500 rpm.

I doubt the noise you are hearing is due to leaving off the washer.

If your talking about your oil pump screen, that washer....no, you won't mess anything up....just replace it soon...might pump thru some unfiltered/unscreened oil....but your filter has a bypass valve setup, to keep the filters from blowing up and popping seals, plus to keep from locking the pump up due to hydrostatic lock....

Thx for replies. Any thoughts on putting a/some bolts through my V&H baffles and maybe fixing the muffler dent?
