New Member From Alberta

Good day everyone... I found this site being referenced on the VulcanForums site that I'm a member of so I thought I'd sign up and check it out. I've never owned a Vulcan but my brother-in-law did so I found a lot of useful information over there.

I had a beautiful blue Suzuki M90 up to about a month ago when I fell victim to the left turning vehicle and ended up on the pavement. To make a long story short I am still at home recovering from a broken pelvis and a ruptured bladder. Things are going well though and I'm recovering nicely!

My brother-in-law always liked the Vaqueros and the more I look at them and the Voyagers the more I like them. Its going to be a year or two until I can even think of getting on another bike but I'm really liking what I see with these two models. My wife and I love riding together and both models would be a much more comfortable choice than the M90 was.

I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can from this site and others about these two bikes. Thanks for the membership!

Ride safe everyone!

Welcome from Kentucky!

Very sorry to hear about your accident. I’m glad to hear you are recovering well.

Those Suzuki 90s look like nice bikes. I don’t think you will be disappointed with a big Kawasaki. They make a very nice reliable bike that is a lot of fun to ride. In fact, I wish I was riding my nomad right now.

Welcome from New Hampshire. Hope you heal quickly, and get back on the road on a bike you will be happy with.

Welcome aboard from down in Georgia, sorry you lost such a sweet ride. Hope you keep healing well, and both those bikes are nice choices.

Welcome aboard from Okotoks! Where in Alberta are you located?

Good luck and a speedy recovery from your injuries. Hopefully you're back up on 2 wheels sooner than you think!

How about that? Have you lived there long?

I lived in Wetaskiwin from about 1971 - 1994 and worked in Camrose for about a year at Roseland Lincoln Mercury. Seems like a lifetime ago!

Wow. Small world. I've lived in The Rose pretty much all my life. My wife and I spent a bit of time in Hanna but for the most part Camrose has been home.

Welcome to the forum !! You guys from AB are quite lucky to have such beautiful scenery to ride through . Funny how I always end up there when planning a trip . Last year I spent some time in Drumheller and this past june I did a 10 day tour of Jasper . I'm sure I missed something along the way ! We did take a day and spent some time in Wetaskiwin . Great Museum , I could have spent the whole day there but we had to carry on to Hinton before nightfall . Next year we're heading to Nelson BC which I've never been before . Not sure what route we're taking but I'm sure it'll be just as beautiful .

This is an awesome forum with a wealth of information and a lot of helpful riders . Enjoy and ride safe !!

Welcome from The Black Hills of South Dakota. You have prayers for quick and complete healing and a quick return to the road. We also loved Riding in Alberta. Stayed in Canmore and it was beautiful. Hope it has recovered from the flood a few years ago.
Let us know if you two ever come to Sturgis/Black Hills!
