Good new for our faimily!!!
Our Daughter-in-law is in communications blackout, that means she is somewhere in transit back to the states. Hopefully she will be here at home soon.

Yes Bill it will be great news. We knew a few days ago they where packing to leave. This blackout is the way they left, I am assuming they will return to Fort Hood as that is where they left from. No one is supposed to know exactly how or when they return in country. She will be able to contact us when she is on base. Then is what ever time the Army feels is needed to debrief and evaluated them before they are allowed to return home. Hopefully just a week or two. I think we are going to postpone the Grand-daughter birthday ( April 17 ) until Mommy gets home. With Riley just turning 3 she won't really know the difference and what a great present it would be to have Mommy here.

Talked to the Daughter-in-law on the phone Thursday night. She is at Fort Hood and thinks she will be home May 3rd or 4th. I don't know who is more excited her and our son or Liz and I. We love the Grand-daughter but we are ready for a break! We need some riding time away from the house!!!
