I'm not usually up that late. I happened to wake up around 4 or so and can't get back to sleep. I have to get myself geared back to school hours since work starts back up for me next week.

I've traveled right between you two many times. I usually shoot up I-55 from I-40 to get to St. Louis to see my son who attends college there. I've stayed in West Memphis, AR many times. I've stopped in Blytheville several times and see the Dyersburg (155) cutoff sign traveling up I-55.

kawagirl - my hubbie has that problem - wakes up early then can't go back to sleep. I try not to be a night owl on my days off but it's been so darn hot lately just stay in the air condition and sleep till late - then can ride early evening.

Trip - Next time you're making the run to see you son (hey that rhymes!). Let me know - we'll give you our phone numbers...just in case you every need it .......mechanical problems...need a place to stop r/t bad weather etc.

So you're a wild animal tamer (teacher)? Prayers for you. Frances goes back for in-service next week as well, before her heathen charges return the following week.

That's the same for us. Ours actually starts Friday but we can take the day if we have annual leave or want to take it without pay. I have the annual leave. Who wants to start back on a Friday?

Thanks unwind2, I appreciate the offer. My wife and I probably won't be traveling up to STL until next spring. The same offer goes for East Texas. If you're ever in the area and need a hand, let me know.
